15KPH - Cinematic Parkour
What a game of tip/tag looks like when your a little bit stupid, and are prone to jump off high things. Filmed with a Canon EOS 500D. I edited this in iMovie HD and desaturated it slightly, but for some reason, in doing so, it compressed it or something, so the quality was sacrificed. But it’s not too bad. Part two of Skating the Grid, as the title suggests. It didn’t really turn out the way I planned, a storm rolled in at about 4:00pm and killed all the beautiful sun, so it kind of made the shots all a bit bland. I was really tired when I edited this, so a lot of it is pretty lazy, but whatevs. Filmed on a Canon EOS 500D with a 50mm F/1.8 lens.

Still just playing around with my new CanonEOS 500D. It’s awesome! We only spent like 15 minutes on this, most of them were first take so that’s why there is a little bit of continuity issues and stuff. I know this video is stupid and makes no sense, but I’m just trying to get a feel for the camera. I’m going to try and start making films that actually make sense and...

So yesterday I got my brand spanking new CanonEOS 500D! It’s definitely one of the best things that’s happened to me all year! Upon getting the camera I took a walk out in the 35 ºC heat (95 ºF) of the Australian summer. I really just wanted to test out the video recording on this thing, and I’m really impressed. While keeping it still without some kind of stabilizer or tripod...
